A leading paints and coatings company is seeking a motivated professional to contribute to the execution of sales and profitability targets in the Automotive sector. The successful candidate will analyze market potential, advise customers, and monitor performance. Requirements include a diploma in Business Management/Process Engineering, at least 3 years of experience in related fields, and strong Italian and English communication skills. This role requires frequent travel within Lombardia or Veneto.

• In depth knowledge of the Automotive market.
• At least 3 years of experience in paints Vehicles Refinishes or related.
• Technical knowledge of coatings.
• Willing to travel 4 days a week.

Job Purpose

Actively contributes to the execution of the sales, expense and profitability targets established by the BU-ASC Vehicle Refinishes within the assigned sales area by delivering to the marketplace the business support directed at the increase of the customers’ profitability.

Key Accountabilities

• Analyzes the local market(ing) potential and the business objectives of the assigned customers.
• Conducts the reviews of the customer’s business operations model, financials and the available resources.
• Advises the customer on how to efficiently make the use of owned resources and actively assists in the design as well as implementation of the bodyshop business / marketing plans.
• Regularly monitors the performance of the bodyshop against the agreed objectives and periodically provides recommendations targeted at the elimination of the observed deficiencies.
• Systematically monitors business results being achieved by the customers covered by the supervision and develops ideas targeted at the increase of their profitability.
• Delivers the applicable tools supporting the business operations to the assigned customers.
• Synchronizes own actions’ schedule with relevant representatives of the field force.
• Systematically updates the customers’ databases with valid, accurate and complete customer-related information.
• Collects and reports on the customer feedback / information regarding the market situation.
• Proactively informs about the opportunities for the improvement of the business services assortment.
• Assists in the design and assessment of the new business services.
• Provides operational assistance in the Acoat Selected network development (including, helping in achieving adequate number of memberships, optimum geographical coverage, quality level, etc.).
• Gets familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures regarding personal conduct/HS&E standards and acts in compliance with all their regulations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor in Business Management/Process Engineering (Green Belt is an advantage)
• In depth knowledge of the Automotive market
• At least 3 years of experience in paints Vehicles Refinishes or other manufacturing business or vehicle repairs market
• Technical knowledge of coatings
• Good English language
• Native Italian language
• Good knowledge MS Office (word, Excel, Sap) and CRM
• Good knowledge of Autocad or EC Design or similar
• Good Communication skills
• Customer focused
• Strong results orientation

• Willing to travel 4 days a week
• The candidate lives in Lombardia or Veneto region
