Overview

AWS Principal Account Executive, Enterprise Greenfield drives digital transformation by engaging with C-level executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of business within strategic accounts. Represents the full AWS portfolio across the Enterprise customer market segment, delivering rapid innovation, broad functionality, secure computing, and proven operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue and increase market share in a defined set of accounts.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute a plan to grow the AWS footprint within your set of accounts.
  • Manage numerous accounts concurrently and strategically.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Accelerate customer adoption through well-developed sales engagements and go-to-market strategies to achieve customer outcomes.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.

A day in the life: Be a critical part of a team focused on increasing adoption of AWS by developing a set of named customers. As a Principal Account Executive, Enterprise Greenfield, you will directly impact the growth and shape of emerging technologies, driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in our largest customers with potential for large AWS spend.

Enterprise Greenfield is a team of Field Sellers, including 150+ Account Managers and 350+ cross-functional members in the United States, focused on solving challenges and enabling customers to achieve desired outcomes with emerging technology.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT leadership, and lines of business.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects for global customers.
  • 7+ years of creating and implementing long-term transformational account strategies in a customer-facing role or equivalent.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, RSUs, and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
