Your Tasks
  • Participate in the Associate Training Program weekly training calls, hands‑on fire training, and accompanied loss control field surveys.
  • Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate the property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards and others as appropriate.
  • Develop recommendations based on standards to include loss estimates before and after completion of the recommendations.
  • Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.
  • Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, special and natural hazards.
  • Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss.
  • Provide services to clients including training, loss control program development, code, and/or regulatory interpretation.
  • Provide project management services to include special visits, plan reviews, and presentations to clients.
Your Qualifications
  • Four‑year college degree or higher required, engineering degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required as the position includes direct contact with client management including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision makers.
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge to clients’ needs to assist in the business decision making process.
