As a Senior Kitchen Porter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our kitchen. You'll support the chefs by maintaining a clean, organised workspace and leading the porter team to uphold the highest hygiene and safety standards.
- Oversee and support the kitchen porter team in daily operations.
- Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and sanitised to the highest standards.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with hotel policies.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Maintain cleaning schedules and ensure HACCP compliance.
- Communicate effectively with chefs and the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, ideally with some supervisory or senior responsibility.
- Strong understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a busy environment.
