About the Role

As a Business Lead for the Merchant Services Team in GoTo Financial, you will spearhead initiatives to drive business growth and optimise the product go-to-market strategy. Your primary focus drive the acquisition and retention of merchants. You’ll be instrumental in refining our merchant acquisition/engagement strategies, leveraging key features and value propositions to deliver exceptional experiences. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will collaborate with product, analytics, compliance, legal, operations, sales, and marketing teams to create innovative solutions that drive merchant success. Your impact will be pivotal in shaping the future of merchant services at GoTo Financial. The ideal candidate will have experience in business and product management, data analytics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do
  • Identify, analyse, and define data-driven business opportunities to drive growth and make decisions that enhance merchant transactions and retention.
  • Translate business opportunities into clear problem statements, prioritise them, develop and implement go-to-market plans and strategies, and oversee product adoption by monitoring funnel conversion rates and merchant experiences throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with research, design, product, and engineering teams to develop a truly merchant-focused product, pushing the boundaries of innovation.
  • Continuously monitor the product lifecycle, making data-driven decisions to improve and refine the product.
  • Engage with sales, operations, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless and exceptional experience for merchants.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and strategies through feedback and data analysis.
What You Will Need
  • At least 6 years of experience: Demonstrated expertise in business and product knowledge and project management, with a proven track record of driving business growth and achieving targets.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills: Proficient in utilising data and metrics to support requirements and features, with a strong focus on driving data-driven decisions. Excel and SQL proficiency is a must-have.
