POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Licensed Life and Health Insurance Specialist who will play a vital role in educating and guiding customers to select the insurance policies that best meet their needs. This role requires in-depth knowledge of various insurance products, the ability to assess customers' needs, and the expertise to effectively recommend and customize policies that meet those needs.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide information to customers about various healthcare options and insurance policies.
  2. Help customers choose the appropriate insurance policy that fits their needs.
  3. Engage with customers to understand their requirements and provide relevant solutions.
  4. Ensure that all activities and advice comply with insurance regulations and company policies.
  5. Deliver high-quality service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  6. Respond to customer inquiries regarding coverage, benefits, claims, and other insurance-related questions.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and documentation.
  8. Keep abreast of changes in insurance regulations, healthcare policies, and market trends to provide accurate and current information to customers.
  9. Promote various insurance products and services to meet sales targets and business objectives.
  10. Resolve any concerns that customers may have with their insurance policies.
  11. Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a cohesive customer service and policy management approach.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain licensure and improve skills.
STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS

  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. Must hold a valid Healthcare Insurance License
  3. Previous call center experience is preferred.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  6. Strong organizational abilities and interpersonal skills.
  7. Flexible schedule, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
  8. Capable of functioning efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Dependable in completing assignments and maintaining attendance.

Requirements:

  1. A wired Ethernet connection with at least 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds (wireless connections are not allowed)
  2. Two 21" monitors are needed.
  3. A hard-wired broadband Internet connection via DSL, Cable, or Fiber Optic is required.
  4. Wireless connections, including encrypted ones, are not allowed for accessing the clients Work at Home systems.
  5. You must provide your own headset. Specific models will be recommended during the interview process.

  1. Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.

Subject to the program and location of the position

  1. Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint. Job offers are contingent on background/security investigation results.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
