A growing SME in Leicester Forest East is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to handle payroll and purchase ledger tasks. You will join a friendly team, managing payroll through Sage and supporting various financial functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a hands-on attitude. This role offers a competitive salary of £26,000 to £28,000 per annum.

- Administering weekly and monthly payroll using Sage Line 50 Payroll.

- Managing end-of-year returns and liaising with HMRC.
- Maintaining and reconciling the purchase ledger.
- Preparing supplier payments and resolving queries.
- Assisting with credit control and sales ledger cash postings.
- Providing general accounts support and occasional office cover.
