Technician jobs in France

As one of our Technician Specialists, you'll have the unique opportunity of bringing our distinctive John Lewis service right to our customers' doors and install the products they love into their homes (such as furniture, kitchen appliances, sound systems, and TV sets) as part of a 2-person delivery crew. You'll also share your expertise to coach and develop the other delivery drivers in your team on home installations and customer service skills, acting as a role model for the great service John Lewis is known for.

Due to its nature, you need to be 18 years or older to work in this role.

Please note the expected starting rate for a Customer Delivery Hub, Driver Trainee is £38,495 (Annual).

1. Start your day at the delivery hub before heading out on route, with responsibilities including:
2. Being an ambassador for the John Lewis brand with great customer service as your top priority.
3. Coaching, developing, and assessing your delivery driver colleagues, providing them with the knowledge to perform at their best.
4. Helping load your lorry with the day's deliveries alongside the warehouse team.
5. Respecting the customer's home and handling unexpected situations to find the best solutions.
6. Installing products efficiently and demonstrating their use once installed.
7. Keeping up to date with new products and technologies.
8. Maintaining a safe working environment.

Previous installation experience is required, and training will be provided through our installer accreditation. Other requirements include:

• Manual C1 UK driving license (max 6 points).
• DCPC and Tachograph Card.
• Experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• Customer-facing experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle physical demands, such as delivering large items.
• Good understanding of technology.
