Qualifications

• Fully skilled with Level 3 HGV/PSV apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of a car/van driving licence.
• Technician level expertise required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with Biffa's operator’s licence.
• Maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles.

HGV Chargehand Technician

Biffa Waste - High Wycombe Depot
Salary: £21.35p/h
Shift Pattern: 7.00-16.30 & 10.00-19.30

Join our team and be part of the iconic Biffa fleet, known for our "Big Red Trucks". With over 100 years of history, we operate across the UK, maintaining and repairing our vehicles and waste management equipment to meet health, safety, and DVSA standards.

You will perform scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure compliance with Biffa’s operator’s licence. Our diverse fleet ranges from light commercial vans to 44t articulated vehicles, offering ample learning and development opportunities.
