The Role:
The Faculty of Science and Health is looking to appoint six dedicated individuals who wish to explore a career as a Technician by joining the existing Faculty Technical team.
The successful candidates will be part of a large Faculty based Technical provision, which supports teaching, research and innovation activity for 4 School’s. Three roles will be based primarily within the teams across Spinnaker Building focusing on activities supporting the School of Psychology, Sport & Health Sciences; one role will support activities in our the School of Dental, health and Care Professions, based in St Andrew Court; one role will support activities in the School of Medicine, Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences within St Michael’s Building; and one role will support activities within the School of Environment and Life Sciences, based in King Henry building.
The successful candidate should demonstrate professionalism, good communication skills, an ability to organise and prioritise work load and a commitment to providing support to enhance the service we provide to the research and teaching activities of the Faculty is essential.
1 x Full time, fixed term - St Andrews Court - Health Teaching
2 x Full time, fixed term – Spinnaker Building
1 x Part time (22.2 hours per week 0.6FTE), fixed term – Spinnaker Building
1 x Full time - St Michaels Building - Pharm Practice
1 x Full time - King Henry Building - Microbiology

These appointments are fixed term initially to 12 June 2026.
