An experienced Insurance Claims Building Surveyor is required to join a global Loss Adjusters team offering national Surveying coverage. The team comprises Chartered Building Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Managers, and Project Managers, supported by a nationwide Surveying Technical Administration team.

You will play an integral role in the Surveying team, handling both residential and large complex projects across commercial, leisure, industrial, and multi-occupancy buildings. Your responsibilities include managing general damage losses and complex building issues, typically ranging from £20,000 to over £1 million, with most claims around £70,000 to £100,000.

This role is remote, with travel required within your geographical region of Swindon/Gloucestershire.

1. Conduct initial site visits with experienced Loss Adjusters to assess damage and establish defect diagnosis.
2. Address Planning, Building Regulations, and Party Wall issues.
3. Arrange testing, prepare reports, resolve complaints, and ensure compliance performance.
4. Provide budget costings and recommendations in reports.
5. Utilize your experience as a Building Surveyor within the Insurance Claims Sector.
6. Handle all peril-related property damage, including large complex losses.
7. Survey a wide range of buildings and structures, such as commercial multi-occupancy blocks.
8. Maintain a passion for the technical aspects of Surveying and focus on customer and quality service.
9. Collaborate effectively with other teams, including Adjusters and Structural Engineers.
10. Stay informed about Health & Safety Legislation.
11. Manage multiple projects competently from start to finish.
12. Possess industry qualifications, ideally Chartered MRICS, or be willing to work towards them with support and funding.
13. Hold a full clean driving license and be willing to travel outside your area when necessary.
