• Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and oversee food preparation and ensure dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
• Work with the Kitchen team in producing menus that demonstrate flair and commercial awareness, taking into account current trends in the catering industry.
• Fully understand the importance of and have the ability to utilise standard recipe cards and plating guides.
• Ensure the kitchen team is trained on new menus and specifications.
• Maintain the Kitchen’s target Gross Profit % through effective control of food costs, wastage and portion control.

• Proven leadership experience within hospitality.
• Strong organisational skills, with experience managing large and diverse teams.
• Approachable, hands‑on, and passionate about guest experience and team development.
• Drive to go above and beyond, in exceeding guest expectations and finding ways to continually improve service.
