They are seeking to employ a Junior Civil Engineer to join their Water and Wastewater Infrastructure team. The company has a multidisciplinary team of experts across civil and structural engineering, water engineering, building services engineering, project management, building surveying, town planning, environmental specialists, and asset management. With a presence in over 400 locations worldwide, they combine extensive resources with a client-focused approach.

The talented Junior Engineer will join the Water Team in Belfast. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with limited experience in water engineering to develop their skills in a collaborative and innovative environment.

1. Assist in the design and analysis of water-related engineering projects, including water supply, treatment, and distribution systems.
2. Support the preparation of status reports, basis-of-design descriptions, and other project-related documentation.
3. Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses for water infrastructure projects.
4. Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.
5. Support the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
6. Ensure standard engineering practices and proper documentation in reports and design projects.
7. Provide construction administration support, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and inspecting work for compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong foundation in engineering principles and a passion for water engineering.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under guidance and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, ICM, Microdrainage.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes, Specification for Highway Works, Civil Engineering Specification for the Water Industry, and Sewers For Adoption.
• At least 3 years of UK or Ireland experience.
