Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure) | Belfast

At Vickerstock, we are pleased to collaborate with one of Northern Ireland's longest-standing multi-disciplinary design consultancies to recruit a Civil Designer for their Civil Infrastructure team. Due to a rapidly increasing pipeline of work, this role will support a variety of highly complex projects, including public realm, environmental improvement schemes, blue/green infrastructure, MUGAs, greenways, play parks, and sport/leisure facilities.

Role Overview:

As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be a key member of an established Infrastructure team. Your responsibilities include preparing conceptual, schematic, and detailed design solutions for civil infrastructure schemes. You will develop design packages and civil drawings using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, PDS, and Microsoft Office software.

Requirements:

• A degree in civil engineering, landscape architecture, or a related construction discipline.
• 1-5 years of civil design experience, preferably on civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with the specified design packages is advantageous.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate in a team environment.
• Experience in Public Realm, Greenways, or Civil Infrastructure projects is a plus but not essential.
