Position: Civil Design Engineer (Infrastructure) | Belfast

At Vickerstock, we are pleased to be working alongside one of Northern Ireland's longest standing multi-disciplinary design consultancies to recruit for the position of Civil Designer to join their talented Civil Infrastructure team. Due to a rapidly increasing pipeline of work, this role is to satisfy their upcoming variety of highly complex projects including public realm, environmental improvement schemes, blue/green infrastructure, MUGAs and greenways, play parks, and sport/leisure.

Your Role

As a Civil Design Engineer, you will become a valued member of an already established Infrastructure team. Your responsibilities include preparing conceptual, schematic, and detailed design solutions for various civil infrastructure schemes. You will prepare design packages and civil drawings using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, PDS, and Microsoft Office software.

Requirements

• Degree in civil engineering, landscape architecture, or related construction discipline.
• 1-5 years of civil design experience, preferably on civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience with the design packages noted above.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate as part of a team.
• Experience in Public Realm / Greenways / Civil Infrastructure projects is advantageous but not essential.
