This role ensures compliance with treasury controls, manages banking relationships, and supports treasury compliance and control initiatives. Experience with foreign currency accounts is highly desirable.

1. Oversee the opening, closing, and maintenance of 100+ bank accounts across various legal entities.
2. Ensure accurate records for all accounts, including authorized signatories and mandates.
3. Streamline bank accounts to optimize liquidity and reduce costs.
4. Maintain compliance with banking regulations and internal policies, ensuring alignment with SRA rules (if applicable).

1. Manage user access, controls, and permissions across multiple banking platforms (e.g., Barclays iPortal, Barclays.net, Virgin Money, Santander).
2. Maintain and update treasury documentation and processes, ensuring data accuracy and security.
3. Conduct regular audits of system access and banking documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls.

1. Ensure all treasury operations comply with company policies, banking regulations, and legal requirements, maintaining a full audit trail.
2. Implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks, fraud, and unauthorized transactions.
3. Conduct periodic reviews of treasury processes and recommend best practice improvements.
4. Support and coordinate treasury compliance and controls, ensuring adherence to banking and regulatory frameworks.

1. Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day interactions with banking partners, handling queries and coordinating bank account setups and maintenance.
2. Monitor service levels and fees, ensuring that banking services align with the Group's operational needs and financial goals.
3. Assist in the negotiation of banking terms and conditions to optimize service delivery and costs.
4. Ensure compliance with bank rules and procedures, especially for law firm client accounts.

1. Experience in managing foreign currency accounts and handling multi-currency transactions is desirable.
2. Monitor foreign exchange exposures and assist in implementing risk mitigation strategies.
3. Prior experience with client accounts in a law firm setting is a strong advantage.

1. Assist in consolidating and rationalizing bank accounts for improved efficiency.
2. Support system improvement projects, including updating bank account setups, user configurations, and mandate structures.
3. Work closely with the Group Treasury Manager on cash liquidity forecasting, risk management, and other treasury-related initiatives.

1. Minimum 5+ years of experience in a treasury or finance role, managing bank accounts and banking systems.
2. Strong experience handling banking forms & bank mandate, compliance with bank rules, and managing banking relationships in a professional manner.
3. Strong experience handling multiple banking platforms and online banking systems.
4. Experience working for a law firm or a company with client accounts is an advantage.
5. A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for treasury reporting and documentation.
7. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
8. Excellent communication skills to manage both internal stakeholders and external banking relationships.
9. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
10. Ability to manage stress well and stay calm under pressure in a high-volume, deadline-driven treasury environment.
11. Willingness to take initiative to learn and grow in the role to enhance treasury processes and efficiencies.
12. Experience with foreign currency accounts is desirable.
