Job description
Registered Manager – Adult Domiciliary Care

Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Registered Manager within the Adult Domiciliary Care Service to work full time for Comfort Care & Health Ltd, based in Slough.

The salary for this permanent Registered Manager job is up to £55,000 per annum.

  • To promote and develop services within the branches ensuring financial targets are met.
  • To work in conjunction with the Operations Manager and to assist in the smooth running of all care and upkeep of all care delivery practice and procedures.
  • To keep abreast of all new developments in Health & Social Care and of the philosophies and policies of our contracting authorities.
  • Above all, to provide high-quality homecare services that support the rights of customers to live the lives they choose as far as they are able.
  • To monitor and review the care provided at branches, undertake regular spot checks, quality assurance audits, preparation for CQC inspections.
  • To assist the Operations Manager in completing and investigating complaints made.
  • To further establish the quality reputation, and identify opportunities for increasing service provision, through effective liaison with other agencies as appropriate.
  • To participate in staff meetings on a regular basis.
  • Attend and participate in training as required for service development.
  • Maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements and to ensure the effective running of the business.
  • Develop services, putting equal opportunity policy into practice, ensuring that the services provided are sensitive to need and is culturally appropriate.
  • To train managers/other area staff.
  • Ensure the events and outcomes of all visits, consultations, spot checks, complaints etc, are recorded in all cases immediately following the event/visit.
  • Preparation of statistics/reports on service delivery as directed by the Operations Manager.
  • To answer telephone queries/complaints/advice and ensure correct message recording, actioning of messages and the maintenance and upkeep of daily records.

Requirements for this Registered Manager role:

  • Must have S/NVQ Level 5 or equivalent or be willing to work towards a relevant management qualification.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the regulatory responsibilities of a Registered Manager and the law relating to domiciliary care services.
  • Experience of managing the delivery of social care services as a registered manager
