About the business unit
We help conceive, drive, and implement transport solutions for cities, regions, and asset owners/operators around the globe. From preparing the business case and advising on related issues - such as revenue, procurement, and environmental legislation - to delivering the completed infrastructure and helping maintain it. Our planning, engineering, environmental and management skills cover the whole project cycle. We play a major role in developing and delivering the Global Transport Sector Strategy.

Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Project Managers, preferably with experience in management of airport design and construction to join our growing Aviation Team to help us meet growing demand in UK and International Aviation.

Responsibilities will include project and bid management in particular:
  • Ensure our projects and bids are progressed in accordance with our internal Business Management Systems and, where appropriate, in accordance with the requirements of our clients.
  • Ensure projects are delivered sustainably, maximising social value and in accordance with best practise – ensuring the safety of our people, and those that need to build, operate and use the infrastructure that we create.
  • Stakeholder management – working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Preparation of robust budgets and programmes for bids and projects

Candidate specification:

Candidates should have experience in Project or Design Management and have a passion for Aviation.

Candidates should have excellent written and spoken English and the ability to speak additional languages would be desirable.

Candidates should ideally be members of the Association of Project Management or a similar recognised professional body and have, or be working towards, a professional project management certification.

A background in Civil Engineering, Airport Design or Airport Operations would be advantageous.

Candidates may be required to travel within the UK and to selected locations internationally (subject to mutual agreement)
