Job summary
A dedicated educational organization is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant for their primary school in Greater London. In this role, you will support Nursery children in the mornings and assist those with complex needs in the afternoons. Responsibilities include providing tailored support, maintaining an inclusive environment, and working closely with the SEN team. Ideal candidates will have experience with EYFS and be dedicated to fostering children's academic and emotional growth.
Qualifications
- Experience within EYFS is essential.
- Comfortable with personal care.
- Background working with SEN or complex needs desirable.
Responsibilities
- Support Nursery children within the EYFS curriculum.
- Provide tailored afternoon support for pupils with complex needs.
- Assist with personal care and physical support where required.
- Help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to deliver individualised strategies.
- Encourage communication, social skills and independence.
Skills
Pay: 95-115 per day
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming primary school. You will work in Nursery during the mornings and support pupils with complex needs in the afternoons, helping them engage, learn and feel confident throughout the school day.
