DUTIES

Your duties as the Grant Writer / Bid Writer include:

• Work closely with clients to understand their unique project and business goals, requirements and funding needs

• Lead, prepare and write high quality grant applications, ensuring they meet all submission requirements and deadlines

• Ensure that all grant applications adhere to guidelines set by the funding body and are eligible

• Monitor the progress of applications and support clients with their longer-term grant funding strategies

• Collaborate with the team to share knowledge, best practices and contribute to the company’s overall success


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

As the Grant Writer / Bid Writer you will have the following skills and experience:

• Proven innovation grant writing experience, with a track record of successful funding secured from Innovate UK, and preferably other funding bodies as well

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas succinctly and persuasively

• Adept at conducting thorough research to identify relevant funding opportunities

• Strong organisational skills and an eagle eye for detail to manage multiple proposals and deadlines

• Collaborative spirit and the ability to work seamlessly within a diverse team

• Knowledge of various industries and sectors to cater to a diverse clientele

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant area (technical/MBA) is preferred
