Overview

As a Vehicle Diagnostic Author, you will play a pivotal role in developing, testing, and delivering diagnostic content. Your expertise will shape the way technicians around the world tackle complex vehicle issues. This role demands attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to simplify intricate technical concepts.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and author processes to address complex faults, from initial symptoms or DTCs to resolution.
  • Develop workflow solutions for guided diagnostic systems.
  • Manage and publish clear, concise content tailored for automotive dealership technicians.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to gather accurate and up-to-date technical information.
Qualifications
  • A solid understanding of vehicle diagnostics and electronic systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience working with technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to fault diagnosis.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering processes.
  • A professional demeanor in customer-facing interactions.
  • Teamwork skills combined with the initiative to work independently when required.
