This Manchester based in-house legal team is seeking a commercial solicitor. This is a brilliant company with a special culture including company day trips, holidays, and office get togethers - a lovely place to work by all accounts.

The company is within IT although technical knowledge and industry speak is not required - this job is all about commercial contracts, and your attitude to client advice and risk is going to be all important. The legal team is valued by internal stakeholders and has good visibility across the company. The sales teams here work closely with Legal and have a good working relationship.

The expectation is that you are in the office for at least 2 days per week. You will be trusted and treated like an adult.

• Provide commercial contract advice and drafting for the business.
• Assess and manage risk in commercial arrangements and advise on risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, particularly the sales team, to support business objectives.
• Operate in an in-house environment with a focus on practical, business-friendly legal solutions.

• Qualified solicitor with a commercial focus (in IT sector experience not required).
