Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is in search of a Data Analyst for a major finance data reporting migration project. The role involves analyzing legacy finance reports, validating data accuracy, and enabling teams to produce robust outputs in Power BI. Candidates should possess strong SQL and advanced Excel skills, with experience in data migration and reporting transformation. This is a fully remote role, outside IR35, intended for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning legacy data into actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Strong background in SQL and Excel essential for data analysis.
- Experience in data migration and reporting transformations required.
- Ability to clearly document logic and reverse-engineer reporting structures.
Responsibilities
- Analyse legacy finance reports and document business rules.
- Profile and validate data for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct source-to-target mapping and document data flows.
- Extract and interrogate data using SQL and Excel.
- Collaborate with various teams to deliver outputs.
