Internally, this role is known as Property Asset Manager.
At NFU Mutual we own a large UK wide commercial property investment portfolio with assets under management of around £1.8bn. We aim to not just manage property, but to also unlock its potential and add value.
Our expert Property Investment Team are wanting to recruit a dynamic Property Asset Manager to help deliver exceptional results.
As a Property Asset Manager, you'll be at the heart of our property investment strategy, leading asset management initiatives, driving performance, and protecting the interests of NFU Mutual. You'll manage a diverse portfolio, identify opportunities for growth, and building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure our investments thrive.
You'll create clear, high-impact business plans for individual assets, with smart strategies to grow value and returns, as well as research and assess new acquisitions and disposals, making bold, informed recommendations to keep our portfolio performing at its best.

About you
You will hold the MRICS qualification and have experience managing commercial real estate for investment performance purposes. You will possess a successful track record in delivering added value through commercial real estate asset management, including delivery of leasing strategies, rent reviews, lease renewals, regears as well as repositioning assets through refurbishment and ESG activities. You also have a solid understanding of the UK property investment market.
Whilst our property management of our multi-occupied real estate is outsourced, you must have a solid appreciation and understanding of property management, including supplier management, service charges, health & safety and tenant engagement.
You have a flair for relationship building and an ability to engage stakeholders and manage suppliers to deliver successful outcomes. You're an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing with the ability to create polished, on-brand presentations. You should demonstrate adaptability, negotiation skills, and have a problem-solving mindset, all whilst thriving in a dynamic environment. Lastly you must hold a valid UK Drivers Licence and be able to travel as required for the role.
