Job summary

A luxury hotel in Penarth is seeking a Reservations Executive to manage reservations and optimize room sales using proactive selling techniques. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Hospitality Management, excellent communication skills, and a minimum of one year’s experience in reservations. Familiarity with Opera PMS and reservation systems is crucial. This role requires high professionalism and the ability to work shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar capacity.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Knowledge of financial department's package breakdowns.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and control all inventory and rate availability.
  • Review daily reservation accuracy for compliance.
  • Ensure compliance to Best Rate Guarantee policy.
