- Prepare and serve a range of fresh, nutritious meals aligned with residents' care plans.
- Follow IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative) guidelines when preparing textured‑modified diets.
- Cater for special dietary requirements, allergies, and medical conditions.
- Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen organisation.
- Adapt quickly to new environments and work collaboratively with care teams.
- Proven experience as a chef or cook in care homes or healthcare settings.
- Strong knowledge of IDDSI standards, nutrition, and elderly dietary needs.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 certification (essential).
