An educational institution in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs. You'll coordinate therapeutic interventions and work alongside teaching staff. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, including GCSEs in English and Maths, and HLTA status. New College Durham Academies Trust are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team at North Durham Academy. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with additional needs through the delivery of therapeutic and intervention programmes designed to promote wellbeing, independence and engagement in learning. Working under the direction of the SENCO/Head of Inclusion, you will help students access the curriculum, build self-esteem, and develop essential life and social skills.
