A government agency in Birmingham seeks a Head of Sustainability and Fleet to lead its sustainability strategies and initiatives. The role includes managing a small team and aligning the strategies with governmental expectations. Responsibilities encompass integrating sustainability into decision-making processes and increasing organizational capabilities on sustainability practices. The Head of Sustainability and Fleet has leadership responsibility for the delivery and management of the sustainability strategy, including initiatives such as the Government Fleet Commitment, that support existing and new operational delivery models. The post holder is required to provide the professional leadership, support and advice and guidance expected of an experienced Civil Servant whilst supporting the delivery of estates and operational strategies, as well as other government and DVSA strategies.
