A leading employment agency is looking for a Maintenance Engineer in Burton Joyce. This permanent role involves monitoring electrical equipment, executing maintenance tasks, and effectively liaising with the Shift Team Leader. £48K plus overtime
12‑hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights)
- To liaise with the Shift Team Leader to ensure the efficient running of the factory
- Understand all factory operations, including steam raising plant, odour control and effluent treatment plant
- Monitor all electrical equipment to ensure efficient operation
- Carry out breakdown repairs, as able, to factory equipment in a timely manner
- Site electrical installations and upgrade work, as designated by the Electrical Team Leader
- Carry out routine electrical or mechanical maintenance according to planned maintenance schedules
- Be on call for a proportion of the time
- Served a recognised City and Guilds Electrical Apprenticeship
- Extensive electrical experience working in a continuous process environment and handling electrical maintenance and breakdowns
- Proven experience with fault finding, able to troubleshoot and solve process problems
- Conversant with basic PLC logic and inverter drives
- Basic mechanical skills and experience of plant operations
