Qualifications

  • Experience in a Quality role within a factory environment (food, cosmetics, or pharmaceuticals preferred).
  • Experience with certification audits or major retailer (Big 4) audits is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Approve and release finished products for distribution.
  • Perform weekly GMP and Hygiene audits across production areas.
  • Review and approve manufacturing documents.
  • Support the Head of Technical, Quality & Regulatory in managing the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Act as audit lead during customer and certification audits.

With continued expansion into new product ranges and markets, we’re now seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Officer to join our talented and dynamic team.

About the Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing our quality standards across the business. Acting as a Deputy to the Quality Manager, you’ll oversee key elements of the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance, consistency, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing and packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Approve and release finished products for distribution.
  • Perform weekly GMP and Hygiene audits across production areas.
  • Review and approve manufacturing documents.
  • Support the Head of Technical, Quality & Regulatory in managing the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Act as audit lead during customer and certification audits.
  • Undertake any additional duties necessary to maintain quality and compliance.
About You

We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with the right personal attributes to thrive in a collaborative environment.

You will have:

  • Experience in a Quality role within a factory environment (food, cosmetics, or pharmaceuticals preferred).
  • A degree in a science-based discipline.
  • Formal Internal Auditor and HACCP Level 2 training.
  • Experience with certification audits or major retailer (Big 4) audits is highly desirable.
