Field Service Engineer

Leeds, LS18

£37,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience

Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4pm

We’re seeking an experienced Hands-on Electromechanical Engineer to work within our client's Technical Department. Responsibilities include:

• Installing, servicing, and repairing packaging machinery on customer sites and in our workshop.
• Working predominantly with machinery supplied by us, but capable of servicing other equipment as needed.
• Using your knowledge of machinery and consumables to advise clients and perform film optimisation on pallet wrapping machines.
• Providing excellent customer service, empathising with clients, and representing us professionally during all interactions.

• Logging and charging for all procedures accurately and timely.
• Managing health & safety aspects of the role.
• Providing technical support to sales colleagues.
• Conducting customer demonstrations and on-site training.

Essential:

• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify revenue opportunities.
• Several years’ experience in a similar role or fully qualified.
• Full, clean driving license.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x basic salary.
