Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is seeking a hands-on Lead Business Intelligence Developer in the United Kingdom. You will be responsible for developing production dashboards, leading a small team, and improving analytics in retail and supply chain. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in analytics with strong dashboard development skills and team leadership experience. This full-time position offers a hybrid model of work.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years in analytics/BI with strong experience in dashboard development.
- 3+ years of experience in people leadership.
- Practical experience with modern cloud analytics stacks.
- Track record in delivering retail and supply chain analytics.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production dashboards and reports.
- Own the end-to-end analytics lifecycle for supply chain use cases.
- Lead BI governance across centralized and federated teams.
- Partner with various departments to prioritize analytics work.
- Mentor and grow analysts and engineers.

LeadBIgovernanceacrosscentralizedandfederatedteams:ownershipmatrices,accesscontrols,developmentstandards,peerreview,andreleaseprocesses.
Partnerwithmerchandising,demand/inventoryplanning,logistics,andengineeringtoprioritizeanalyticswork,translatebusinessproblemsintomeasurableprojects,anddriveadoption.
Mentorandgrowanalysts/engineers,runhiringandperformanceprocesses,andenablebusinessusersthroughtraining,templates,andself-servepatternswhileensuringtrustedBIassets.
8-10yearsinanalytics/BIwithstronghands-ondashboarddevelopmentand3+yearsofpeopleleadership(managinganalysts/engineersormanagers).
ExpertSQLandanalyticmodelingskills;productionexperiencebuildingdashboardsinSigma(orsimilartoolssuchasLooker,Tableau,orPowerBI).
Practicalexperiencewithmoderncloudanalyticsstacks(Snowflake)andanalyticsengineeringpractices/tools(dbt,Airflow,orequivalent).
Proventrackrecorddeliveringretailandsupply-chainanalytics(inventoryplanning,forecastaccuracy,allocation,OTIF)andimplementingBIgovernanceinfederatedenvironments.
Excellentstakeholdermanagementandcommunication;abletosetroadmaps/OKRs,measureimpact,andbalancehands-ondeliverywithstrategicleadership.
