A local council in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic candidate for a Housing and Community Development apprenticeship. This role offers hands-on experience supporting community projects while gaining insights into housing management. Candidates should have good communication skills and be eager to learn. The apprenticeship includes support for a recognized qualification in Business Administration. This position is hybrid, based in Barry with a fixed-term contract.

This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with both the Housing Management and Community Investment & Engagement teams. You will support the delivery of community-focused projects and gain insight into the day-to-day operations of housing services.

You’ll be supported throughout your journey and encouraged to develop your professional skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. As part of the apprenticeship, you will also be supported to complete a recognised qualification in Business Administration, helping to build a strong foundation for your future career. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to the team’s social media communications, helping to promote community projects and engage with residents online.
Pay Details: Apprenticeship Rate
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37
Main Place of Work: Hybrid working, The Alps Office, The Hub and Home
Temporary Reason: Fixed Term Contract 12 months or on completion of the qualification, whichever is first.
