Job Title: Youth Justice Keyworker
Location:Bridge House / Worthing Police Custody
Working Pattern:Shift Work – 5 days on, 3 days off (10am–6pm)
Length of Assignment:Until March 2026
Requirements:Enhanced DBS Required

We’re looking for aYouth Justice Keyworkerto join our team at Worthing Custody Suite. You’ll work a rolling shift pattern (5 days on, 3 days off, 10am–6pm), supporting young people during some of their most vulnerable moments in police custody.

With empathy, respect, and a trauma-informed approach, you’ll engage with young people to:

  • Offer immediate emotional support and advocacy.

  • Explore the challenges they face, such as substance misuse, housing, education, and employment.

  • Work with families where appropriate to strengthen support networks.

  • Connect young people with tailored services that can help them change direction.
