Location:Bridge House / Worthing Police Custody
Working Pattern:Shift Work – 5 days on, 3 days off (10am–6pm)
Length of Assignment:Until March 2026

We’re looking for aYouth Justice Keyworkerto join our team at Worthing Custody Suite. You’ll work a rolling shift pattern (5 days on, 3 days off, 10am–6pm), supporting young people during some of their most vulnerable moments in police custody.
With empathy, respect, and a trauma-informed approach, you’ll engage with young people to:
Offer immediate emotional support and advocacy.
Explore the challenges they face, such as substance misuse, housing, education, and employment.
Work with families where appropriate to strengthen support networks.
Connect young people with tailored services that can help them change direction.
This is more than a frontline role—it’s aboutdoing social work in its truest form. You’ll be:
Standing alongside young people when they feel most isolated.
Giving them a voice and ensuring they are heard.
Bridging the gap between crisis and opportunity.
Helping them access the right support to break cycles of harm and move toward a safer, brighter future.
