A prominent sports organization in Liverpool seeks a dedicated Youth and Schools Coordinator to deliver impactful educational programs targeting vulnerable youth. We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as aYouth and Schools Coordinator on a Fixed Term Contract. This role will deliver a bespoke secondary school programme across the Liverpool City Region working with targeted young people to raise awareness of key issues such as County Lines, ripple effect and crime. The role will support those who are disengaged, ‘at risk’ of offending behaviour and those at risk of not fulfilling their potential, allowing them to develop the personal skills, knowledge, and attitude to succeed in life.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual with a strong background in youth work to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of County Lines and its impact on communities, alongside proven experience in planning and delivering educational sessions tailored to vulnerable children and young people. A solid understanding of the National Curriculum, inclusive youth work practices, and mentoring within a youth context is essential. The role requires the ability to implement differentiated learning, build effective relationships with stakeholders, and signpost young people to relevant support services. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills, as well as the ability to evaluate programme delivery and outcomes. A commitment to the mission and values of Liverpool FC Foundation and its school partners is vital. Applicants should hold relevant Youth Work and Mentoring qualifications, be proficient in safeguarding practices, and possess strong IT skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in data collection and analysis to support youth intervention programmes is also required.
This is a full-time, fixed term contract role working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be Anfield Sports and Community Centre.
