Year 6 Teacher - Heswall

Prospero Teaching are working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Heswall who are seeking a Year 6 Teacher to join their team.

The school is well-established within the local community and prides itself on creating a welcoming environment where pupils feel supported and motivated to achieve their best. As the Year 6 Teacher, you will take the lead for the class, planning and delivering lessons that not only prepare pupils for their SATs but also build their confidence for the transition to secondary school. You'll be part of a collaborative KS2 team and will have strong support from senior leaders.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 6
  • Be confident preparing pupils for end of KS2 assessments
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and a positive, proactive attitude

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start available. The position is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to extend or become permanent for the right candidate.
