About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher to join an experienced and supportive team. As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons that support and challenge students as they approach the transition to Key Stage 2. You will have the opportunity to foster curiosity and a love of learning, while also ensuring that each child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning, preparing, and delivering high‑quality lessons that engage and inspire Year 5 students.
  • Assessing and tracking the progress of students, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
  • Supporting students in their social, emotional, and academic development, ensuring their well‑being is a priority.
  • Collaborating with fellow teachers and staff to plan and implement a broad, balanced, and challenging curriculum.
  • Encouraging a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting high standards of behaviour and learning.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers to ensure strong home‑school partnerships.
