Salary: £32,916 - £45,351 per annum (dependent on experience, role and qualifications)

About the role

Heart of Supply is delighted to be recruiting a dedicated Year 5/6 Teacher for a beautiful village primary school just outside Lincoln. This full-time role begins in January 2025 and runs through to July 2025, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the second half of the academic year.

You will be teaching a mixed Year 5/6 class of lively, thoughtful and motivated pupils who are eager to learn and ready for the challenges of upper Key Stage 2. The school prides itself on its warm, community-focused ethos, where every child is known, supported and encouraged to thrive.

What you will need:
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (minimum 6 weeks in a UK primary school)
  • A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, particularly the expectations of upper Key Stage 2
  • The ability to create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment where pupils feel confident and supported
  • Excellent communication and effective classroom management skills
