Overview

Aspire People is recruiting a KS1 Teacher for a Catholic school in Birmingham. This role is for an experienced teacher only; no Early Career Teachers (ECTs) will be considered.

The position is for a Year 1 Teacher with an immediate start, and for the successful candidate the contract will run until July 2026.

The school provides support for students with EAL and SEND needs including 1:1 help and extended resources. Good transport links are available.

Staff describe the environment as friendly, welcoming, and supportive, valuing new ideas and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Teach the Year 1/KS1 curriculum.
• Use strong knowledge of assessments, phonics and maths, with experience of using RWI.
• Assess, mark and plan lessons.
