A Headteacher at a warm and nurturing primary school in Preston is looking for a dedicated Year 1/2 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis. The school provides consistency, clear boundaries and a safe, calm environment where pupils feel settled and able to thrive. Set against a rural backdrop with a broad and varied curriculum, the school helps pupils develop a strong understanding of social expectations and, most importantly, themselves. About the School
  • Primary SEN setting (predominantly behavioural needs)
  • All pupils have an EHCP
  • Small class sizes: 8 pupils per class with 2 TAs

  • Experienced or confident working with pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs
  • Skilled in de‑escalation and maintaining a calm, consistent approach
