Overview

Join our team to lead Wraparound Care provision where children feel safe, supported, and inspired. You’ll manage daily operations, plan engaging activities, and guide a team—all while ensuring compliance and high-quality care. Position Details

Permanent contract. Hours: 10 hours per week. Weeks: 39 weeks per annum. Salary: £29,987.00 – £31,002.00 per annum (FTE) (£15.96 – £16.52 per hour). Actual salary for 10 hrs pw, 39 weeks per year TTO is £7,125 (F1) – £7,366 (F2).

Responsibilities
  • Lead Wraparound Care provision to ensure children feel safe, supported, and inspired.
  • Manage daily operations and guide a team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Plan engaging activities and monitor delivery to meet safeguarding and welfare standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, safeguarding, and OFSTED requirements.
Qualifications
  • Essential: Proven experience in childcare or education settings.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, Health & Safety, and OFSTED requirements.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities for children.
  • First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Desirable: Level 3 (or above) qualification in Childcare, Playwork, or Early Years.
  • Experience managing budgets and administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving and activity planning.
  • Confidence in liaising with parents and external agencies.
