Job summary

A logistics support company in New Earswick is seeking a candidate to provide equipment and vehicle support to their operations. Responsibilities include day-to-day maintenance and inspection of the vehicle fleet to ensure full utilization. The role requires working Monday to Friday with rotating early and late shifts, and approximately 4 Saturdays out of 8. The position offers a good holiday entitlement including 25 days annual leave and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide equipment and vehicle support to the logistics fleet operation through day‑to‑day maintenance and inspection. Ensure full utilisation of the vehicle fleet and keep the equipment in the hands of the user, supporting the Logistics Operation.

Shift Details & Holidays

• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekly: Early shift 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, Late shift 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm
• Weekend Working: Approximately 4 Saturdays out of 8 (6:00 am – 2:00 pm); any weekend shift worked includes a day off in lieu during the week to accommodate work‑life balance
• Holiday Entitlement: 25 days annual leave, 6 flexible days, 8 bank holidays
