• Report directly to the Fleet Engineer and ensure daily service targets are met.
• Communicate targets and action plans to staff via briefing sessions.
• Control daily workshop loading and monitor health & safety practices.
• Ensure buses are maintained in top condition for customers.

Hours: Monday to Friday Days
Location: Perth, Scotland

A great opportunity has come up for a PSV Workshop Manager position in the Perth area. My client, a large transport company with a sizable depot, is looking to recruit a skilled PSV Workshop Manager on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Fleet Engineer and focus on ensuring daily service targets are met and all maintenance tasks are completed to exacting standards.
• Communicate targets and action plans to staff each day via briefing sessions with an emphasis on improved reliability.
• Control daily workshop loading, monitor H&S practices, and ensure buses are in top condition for customers.
• Be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of the depot location; ensure premises are secure, cleaned and safe for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Excellent technical ability in all aspects of PSV maintenance.
• Good communication skills with all levels of management and staff.
• Ability to work within agreed budgetary guidelines.
