The Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator role at Avery Healthcare is focused on providing a wide range of engaging and stimulating activities to promote the physical, psychological, and social well‑being of the residents. The role involves understanding the individual needs and preferences of the residents, planning and delivering a monthly activity and wellbeing plan, and maintaining a safe and positive environment.
As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, your primary focus will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well‑being. You will need to understand the need to promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents. Other responsibilities include identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents, planning and submitting a monthly activity and wellbeing plan, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment.
