Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Welding Tutor / Assessor to deliver high-quality practical and theoretical welding training. The role involves teaching learners, assessing their skills, and supporting them throughout their programme to ensure they gain recognised qualifications and are workplace-ready.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging welding training sessions, including MIG, TIG, and MMA techniques.
  • Assess learners' practical skills and theoretical knowledge using approved assessment methods.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to learners to help them achieve their qualification goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress, assessments, and feedback.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment in the workshop.
  • Keep up to date with industry standards, health and safety regulations, and assessment best practices.
  • Collaborate with other staff to continuously improve the quality of teaching and assessment.
