Overview

Welder / Fabricator (MIG) – Burton-upon-Trent

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Overtime + Training + Progression + Benefits

Are you a Welder / Fabricator looking to join a longstanding company who are leaders in their field, providing you with a stable Monday to Friday role with investment in training or qualifications to increase your skillset and the opportunity to progress? This role offers a chance to join a manufacturer founded over 20 years ago with turnover growth and an expanding product range.

In this Monday to Friday role, you will be workshop based with occasional site visits as you progress. You will be responsible for MIG welding, general fabrication and building the company’s wide range of Compressor / Drying products. Ongoing training is provided to support progression to a rounded Service Technician.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform MIG welding and fabrication on compressors, pipework, driers, and refrigeration units.
• Work in a workshop environment with opportunities to move into site-work.
• Build and assemble the company’s wide range of compressor and drying products.
• Attend training to develop skills and progress within the company.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x.

Qualifications / Skills

• MIG Welder / Fabricator or similar.
• Hands-on role with potential progression.
• Commutable to Burton-On-Trent.
