• Operating manual and automated welding equipment.
• Carrying out self-verification and quality checks on completed welds.

Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join a growing and well‑established engineering business based in Grantham. This is a temporary‑to‑permanent role offering long‑term stability, excellent working hours, and the chance to become part of a skilled and supportive team.

We are looking for a reliable team player who can work to deadlines and targets, consistently producing high‑quality fabrication and welds with strong attention to detail.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday, 07:00–17:15 — enjoy a three‑day weekend every week!
• Overtime available on Fridays.

Weekly pay while working through the agency.

Main Responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding of steel components ranging from 2mm to 20mm
• Producing high‑quality butt and fillet welds
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Operating manual and automated welding equipment
• Carrying out self‑verification and quality checks on completed welds
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator
• Ability to weld to a high standard
• Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes
• Confident reading engineering drawings
• Background in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures
