Job description

CNC Recruitment are proud to work with a Southwest based Fabrication company, a highly respected design and manufacturing business, who are currently seeking Welders / Fabricators to join their team.

Job type – Full Time, Permanent

Location – Taunton area

Working hours – Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am – 4pm

Pay – £30,000 - £38,000 (DOE, Overtime there is also available)

The Role :

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an experienced fabricator / welder or completed an apprenticeship or BTEC level 3 in welding / fabrication and gained experience within the industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform welding tasks using different techniques such as stick welding
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to engineering drawings
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards
