Job description

As a Welder Fabricator, you'll be at the heart of our aviation engineering operations, helping to design and manufacture critical components that support our defence and aerospace missions. This is a hands-on role where your craftsmanship and precision will directly contribute to national security and operational readiness. Responsibilities

• Operating the engraving machine (training provided if needed)
• Adhering to the local tool control system
• Ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Deputising for the metal workshop inventory
• Maintaining workshop machinery as directed by the Team Leader
• This role is full time, working 39 hours per week on-site at Cranwell.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification in a Metal Workshop Engineering Discipline
• Level 3 Qualification in MIG/TIG Welding (Mild Steel, Stainless Steel & Aluminium)

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
