Job summary

A well-established engineering firm in Halifax is seeking TIG Welders / Fabricators to join their team on a permanent basis. This workshop-based position requires TIG welding on various materials and fabrication of components. Candidates should have previous experience, be reliable, and able to interpret engineering drawings. Pay rates range from £14 to £18 per hour depending on experience. This role offers Monday to Friday working hours with the potential for working away when required.

TIG Welders / Fabricators Required

ARC Recruitment are currently recruiting TIG Welders / Fabricators to join a growing and well-established engineering team on a permanent basis.

This is a workshop-based position with the potential for working away when required.

Job duties
  • TIG welding on a variety of materials
  • Fabrication of components and assemblies
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Cutting, shaping, and preparing materials prior to welding
  • Using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure work meets specifications
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working to deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship
  • Assisting with installation work when working away, if required
Pay rates (depending on experience)
  • £14 per hour + holiday pay - under 2 years' experience
  • £16 per hour + holiday pay - 2 to 5 years' experience
  • £18 per hour + holiday pay - 5+ years' experience
Working hours

Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm
